About Trip

Caliendo Sports Baseball Team competing in Tokyo 

The team will be in Tokyo, Japan from August 10- to August 18, 2023. 

This is a tremendous baseball, cultural and life experience of a lifetime.

We will compete against different Japanese baseball clubs and train with their teams.

Join our team for this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play baseball and explore the culture of one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Players will learn daily from veteran coaches the fundamentals of baseball and finer aspects of the game through scrimmages and competitive games against local Japanese teams. 

This trip promises to be a truly amazing experience, which should be and has been shared in the past with family and friends as well. We strongly encourage parents, siblings, extended family members and friends to come along to enjoy international baseball and the Japanese culture with us! 

We will be selecting 12-14 players ages 14-16 years old to represent Caliendo Sports Internationals baseball Team.

Once we receive the player form, we will let you know of the acceptance to the team, costs and more details.

Cost includes

• Hotel
• Bus and driver fees in Tokyo

Trip includes all the tours around Tokyo, sites like Japanese Temples, Castles, City of Kyoto, Major League Game and so much more.

Donation letter:

Players can raise money to pay for partial or the whole trip. We have a donation letter which works if you send it to everyone you know. Inquire about the donation letter. 

Airfare:

You will receive specific instructions on how to book and pay for your flights. Also, on when to depart and arrive at that country. 

Supervision:

Any players traveling alone will be supervised by our staff. Players will be with the group the whole trip and are never allowed to go alone anywhere.

Sample Itinerary

• August 10 Depart from USA
• August 11 Arrive afternoon, settle in, meeting about Japan, welcome meeting. Dinner on your own
• August 12 Practice Japan team and a game, Lunch, Bus tour of Osaka, dinner on your own
• August 13 Game, practice, visit Shitenno-ji Temple, lunch, dinner on your own 
• August 14 Game, Visit Osaka Castle, lunch and dinner on your own
• August 15th Game. Practice with Japanese team, go to Kyoto (Old City). Dinner on your own
• August 16th Game, Practice with Japanese team and lunch, go to Major League Game, dinner on your own at the stadium or in town
•  August 17th Game, Practice, lunch, Shopping Osaka area, rest of day off, dinner on own
• August 18th Depart for USA and arrive back USA same time.
