The ages of the teams vary depending of the sport, country, if its a Caliendo Sports Team we hand pick or f you are taking your own team.

• Ages can be in 2 year increments, EX 11-12, or 13-14, 15-16, etc

• Normally we have about 20-30 percent of players traveling alone

• At times they know one of the families

• We also put them in touch with families going so the son or daughter are able to meet them prior to the trip

• We normally have 2 coaches and a staff member plus our staff on the ground

• They are long days so players to not have much time on their own

• Players are never allowed to go anywhere alone. They must be with a parent, coach or staff member

• Some hotels have security and know our rules

• Its mandatory for everyone traveling to have their own insurance (check with your company) or purchase travel insurance

• We highly recommended you get travel insurance even if you have your own

• Travel insurance sets in immediately and covers more than medical. It may cover bags, planes being late, cancelled flight, and more

• Plus, travel insurance can cover the whole cost of your trip

• Use What's App to text, call or video chat

• Call directly on your cell phone if they have one with them, keep in mind this can be more expensive

• Call our staff member on what's app or cell, we are with the group

• You will be supplied with cell phone numbers of our staff members on the trip.

• Select players of different ages and sports to be on our Caliendo Sports teams who travel internationally for competition or friendship games

• We take teams already established in any sport anywhere in the world for competition or friendship games. You can pick the country you like to go with your team

• If a player does not have any parents traveling, they will be housed with another player

• Families of 3 will be in a room for 3

• If you like a single room for a family member you will have to communicate that to us, there will be an extra cost

• Yes, we have a donation letter which you can request

• You will send this letter to everyone you know asking for a donation

•  Donations should be written to & sent directly to Caliendo Sports

• If you put in your own money for the trip and then you raise the same amount through donations, then we can reimburse you up to the amount you put in personally

• We are NOT a non-profit organization, so check with your accountant for write off rules

• Absolutely, in 20 years we have never had any issues with playing time

• Coaches do their best to have as equal as possible playing time

• We take anywhere from 12-15 players depending on the sport

• This is a different experience for players because they are gone all day, sightseeing and playing so at times they like a break

• Finally, it's not only about playing time, but also the overall life, cultural and sports experience combined

• We encourage family, relatives, friends to come be part of the team

• We do everything together and it makes it a wonderful family experience

• Cost is the same as players because it's a group package

• most trips are from 6 to 10 days depending on the country

• Sample trip:

Depart August 1, arrive in that country the next day August 2 (not all countries)

August 3-9 on the ground

August 10 departs for home and most days you arrive the same day home

• No, flights are separate

• You will book and pay your own flights

• We will supply you with departure & arrival dates, airport code and departure date

• Some countries upon arrival we will pick you up to go to the hotel

• In some countries you will take the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We will supply 

• Players flying alone will connect with a coach, staff member or family traveling. If not, we will make arrangements for pick up

• If you are on the What's App group text you will receive photos of the group that day.
