Caliendo Sports Baseball trip to the Dominican Republic 

Caliendo Sports baseball team will be competing as they travel throughout the beautiful city of Santiago December 26, 2022 to January 1, 2023. 

Joini Caliendo Sports International for this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play baseball and explore the culture of the beautiful Dominican Republic.

Players will learn daily from veteran coaches the fundamentals of baseball and finer aspects of the game through scrimmages and competitive games against local Dominican teams. 

This trip promises to be a truly amazing experience, which should be and has been shared in the past with family and friends as well. We strongly encourage parents, siblings, extended family members and friends to come along to enjoy international baseball and the Italian culture with us! 

We will be selecting 12-14 players ages 14-16 to represent Caliendo Sports International Baseball Team.

Once we receive the player form, we will let you know of the acceptance to the team, costs and more details.  

Everyone going must be part of the group package during the stay in Santiago, no exceptions.

Included in cost

• Welcome Dinner when we arrive.
• Games daily against very good teams, sometimes 2 games a day
• Practice with our top coaches
• Practice prior games with Dominican Players
• Visit Puerta Plata Beach
• Attend a roof top pool
• Visit Santiago Monument for a site of the whole city
• Shop at outdoor market for local souvenirs
• Lunch a couple days at the field; experience the Dominican food with local players.

Donation letter:

Players can raise money to pay for partial or the whole trip. We have a donation letter which works if you send it to everyone you know. Inquire about the donation letter. 

Airfare:

You will receive specific instructions on how to book and pay for your flights. Also, on when to depart and arrive at that country. 

Supervision:

Any players traveling alone will be supervised by our staff. Players will be with the group the whole trip and are never allowed to go alone anywhere.

Sample itinerary of the day

Subject to change

• Breakfast early, mandatory for players
• Depart for practice. We could have a game in the morning instead of practice
• Come back in the area for lunch on your own or lunch at the field
• Go to Game or at times two games.
• Go someplace like, Pool, Monument, and shopping center, market to buy souvenirs, beach or Major League Park/Game.
• Dinner at hotel, buffet at another location, TGI Friday (couple nights on your own and lunch will be at the field that day)
• Back hotel.
• Meetings for players to review the baseball day, parents are included, great learning experience.
