About Baseball Trip to Italy

• Italy Baseball Trip 2023

Caliendo Sports baseball team will be competing as they travel throughout the beautiful countryside of Italy from August 7 - August 17, 2023. 

Joining Caliendo Sports International Baseball Team for this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play baseball and explore the culture of one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Italy.

Players will learn daily from veteran coaches the fundamentals of baseball and finer aspects of the game through scrimmages and competitive games against local Italian teams. 

This trip promises to be a truly amazing experience, which should be and has been shared in the past with family and friends as well. We strongly encourage parents, siblings, extended family members and friends to come along to enjoy international baseball and the Italian culture with us! 

We will be selecting 12-14 players ages 14-17 years old to represent Caliendo Sports Internationals Baseball Team.

Places we will visit and play

We will be visiting and or playing in Rome, Rovigo, Florence, Venice, Siena, Verona, in addition to some small towns for a more traditional Italian experience

Baseball Experience  

• Games daily (except for one travel day) 
• Veteran, experienced coaches on staff
• 12-14 players on team

Everyone must travel together with the team and the team package. No exceptions. 

Donation letter:

Players can raise money to pay for partial or the whole trip. We have a donation letter which works if you send it to everyone you know. Inquire about the donation letter. 

Airfare:

You will receive specific instructions on how to book and pay for your flights. Also, on when to depart and arrive in that country. 

Supervision:

Any players traveling alone will be supervised by our staff. Players will be with the group the whole trip and are never allowed to go anywhere alone.

• August 7th, Depart USA 
• August 8th, Arrive Rome, stay at hotel, meeting with whole group in evening
• August 9th, depart for Rovigo, check in hotel, Game
• August 10th, off to Venice, back for game in Rovigo 
• August 11h, Visit Verona, back to Rovigo game 
• August 12th, Visit Florence
• August 13th, off to Pisa, Game 
• August 14th, off to Siena, Rome, Game
• August 15th, Rome visit Colosseum and more, Game
• August 16th, St. Peters Church and Game 
• August 17th, Depart for the USA
