Caliendo Sports International USA Softball Trip to Italy Aug

Join the Caliendo Sports International USA Softball Team for an unforgettable journey through the scenic landscapes and rich culture of Italy. From August 7 to August 17, 2026, our team will compete against local Italian club teams while exploring some of the country’s most iconic cities and historical landmarks.

Travel Details:

Depart the USA: August 7, 2026
Arrive in Rome: August 8, 2026
Return to USA: August 17, 2026 (same-day arrival into the USA)

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity combines international softball competition with cultural immersion. Players will receive daily instruction from veteran coaches and participate in scrimmages and games designed to enhance their skills and understanding of the game. Italy has a proud tradition of softball, and this tour offers a unique chance to experience it firsthand. We strongly encourage families—parents, siblings, and friends—to join us and share in the adventure.

Team Selection: We will select 12–14 players to represent the Caliendo Sports International USA Softball Team. We will ask for a video, who the player plays for and maybe more details before selecting a player. Once you have been selected if you’re interested, please email us to begin the registration process and receive additional details. Be sure to share your selection of the team and this flyer with your parents or guardians.

Arrive Rome, take shuttle to the airport hotel 5 minutes away. meeting with whole group in the evening. Dinner on your own.

Breakfast at the hotel included. Check out of airport hotel. Depart for game Nettuno, then go to Rome area for lunch on your own, then to St. Peters Church for a tour with tour guide, got to hotel in Frascati, check in (one hour from Rome) dinner included at hotel in Frascati

August 10

Breakfast at the hotel included. Depart for Rome area for shopping, and lunch on your own, visit Spanish Steps, Fountain of Trevi, then for tour of Colosseum with tour guide, then back to hotel and dinner on your own in Frascati. No game today.

August 11

Check out of hotel, depart for Padova/Rovigoarea, about 6 hour bus ride, half way stop for lunch on your own. Arrive Rovigo for game, check into hotel in Padova and Pizza at a local restaurant included.

Breakfast at the hotel included.

Depart for Verona for tour with tour guide. Lunch on your own in Verona. Depart for game at Rovigo. Back to the hotel, dinner on your own in the area.

Breakfast at the hotel included. Depart for Venice, take boat to Murano island for Glassblowing display, take boat to Venice, Optional Gondola ride, lunch on your own, depart for Rovigo/Padova for game, back to hotel, dinner on your own in the area.

Breakfast at the hotel included. Check out of hotel. Depart for Florence, tour of Florence with Tour guide, lunch, shopping on your own, go to hotel, relax, pool area, no game, dinner at the hotel included.

Breakfast at the hotel included. Depart for Pisa, take mini train into Pisa, 10 minute ride, tour of Pisa with tour guide, lunch and shopping on your own, depart for game in Luca. Back to hotel, dinner at hotel included.

Once selected, a $500 Non-Refundable deposit is required to secure your roster spot—as well as spots for any family members, relatives, or friends planning to travel with the team. If someone isn’t fully committed yet, they can hold off on submitting a deposit. Should space become available later, they’re welcome to join at that time.
